We will be climbing this ridge on the peak.
The summit (!)
Extraordinary skies. Himalayan blue.

An expedition to climb Mount Shivling, an iconic peak rising above the source of the Ganges river, lifeblood for millions in India.. Steeped in lore, Mount Shivling is a challenging yet manageably safe high altitude climbing objective for those with previous altitude  experience. We will begin in Delhi, going overland by the Shatabdi Express railway, and then up into the Himalayas. A well-rounded Himalayan experience complete with indigenous culture, trekking, advanced mountaineering with guidance when wanted, and all the amenities to keep you at your best. Join us.

We will climb Shivling with Sherpa support. A 2:1 climber:Sherpa ratio. For every two climbers on the peak, there will be one trained and experienced high altitude climbing Sherpa. The duties of the Sherpa team are to establish camps on the mountain, and fix ropes on the mountain where Luke deems it necessary for the teams abilities.

Mount Shivling is a  challenging 6000 meter plus peak in the Garhwal Himalayas of India.

Climbing at 6000 meters is no place to be short on resources in the remote Himalayas.  We make the proper advance preparations to ensure that our team will be properly cared for, from airport to summit to airport.

  • Spectacular and scenic trek through the Himalaya
  • Expedition-style climb of a technical 6000m  peak
  • High adventure
  • Team mentality

Namaste.
