We made our first backcountry ski touring trip to Humla in February of 2017. What we found was a land with endless potential for exploratory powder skiing. Humla receives the most snow in Nepal and has world class terrain for skiing. Our plan is simple, fly to Simikot and approach the terrain we’ve found to ski there. When you tour into the high alpine bowls and ridgelines you look across at the endless potential of the region. We are looking forward to going back and making turns on great powder snow in the best season in a small group. Join us!
PLAN
- Two and three weeks backcountry skiing the Himalayas (lodge and tent based)
- Small group of intermediate to advanced backcountry skiers and splitboarders seeking the best quality snow and interesting terrain
- You need to arrive for this ski touring trip with a healthy level of cardiovascular fitness. You will be ski touring a minimum of 1000 meters a day and this is best enjoyed with a training plan prior to arriving in Nepal.
