༄ Everest region climb of 6812m Ama Dablam. In April 2024 and also October 2023 we are going to climb 6812m Ama Dablam. Our plan is simple, fly into Lukla, make the approach on foot with porter and yak support to base camp, and then begin acclimatizing and climbing. Our base camp will have three fresh meals a day (many western dishes, pizza), each person their own two person tent, and a dining tent fully stocked for relaxing and resting between rotations on the mountain.
PLAN
- Expedition style climb of an iconic Himalayan peak
- Small group
- Luke Smithwick is guiding this trip, more about Luke here.
- Sherpa supported. All camps will be set and stocked in advance. All fixed ropes will be set in advance.
TRAINING FOR 6812m Ama Dablam
- You need to arrive for this mountaineering trip with cardiovascular fitness. You will be climbing to nearly 7000m and this is best enjoyed with a training plan prior to arriving in Nepal. Luke will work with you for this.
