MERA PEAK SKI EXPEDITION

Nepal, the fabled Himalayan kingdom. This expedition is in the Khumbu region of Northeastern Nepal, known worldwide for its iconic peaks (including Mount Everest). We will fly into Lukla and trek into the heart of the Khumbu and climb Island Peak,  next we’ll catch a helicopter flight over the mountains to the base of Mera Peak. After a day of preparations at the base of Mera we will ascend to base camp and then climb and ski 6476m Mera Peak, returning to Lukla to fly back to Kathmandu. A well rounded Nepal adventure with skiing, culture and spectacular mountain views.

Interact with the fascinating local people with a local guide to introduce you and bridge the cultural gap into the vast and intricate world of Sherpa and Nepalese culture.

Lodge-based, you’ll trek on nice trails and stay in warm lodges at night with heaters and hot meals. November is a spectacular month.

COST EFFECTIVE. FULL SERVICE

We will trek with porter support. This is a lodge-based trek, we sleep in beds each night and order from a menu for three meals a day.
