Outreach Himalaya Ltd.
Outreach Himalaya, Ltd. brings grassroots education and mountain sports equipment to youth in rural communities in the mountains of Nepal, India, Pakistan and Tibet. We began the initiative in September 2014, and since then have started the Kashmir Avalanche Association, brought sports equipment to youth in rural Pakistan, and brought avalanche instructors to Kashmir to teach local professionals how to teach avalanche education in the Kashmiri language.
We believe grassroots outreach should be from person to person on a case by case basis. All of the funds that come in to Outreach Himalaya go directly to those in need. We are a non-profit (d) corporation filed in the state of Idaho as “Outreach Himalaya” in 2022. All of our annual financial proceedings are publicly available. We interact directly with donors so they can choose exactly how they would like funds allocated.
